1. Introduction

In accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Quantumsec S.L. informs users about the use of data storage and retrieval devices (cookies) on their terminal equipment through its website www.quantumsec.es.

The purpose of this Cookie Policy is to explain clearly and precisely which cookies are used on this website, for what purpose, and how users can manage them.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on the user's device (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) when they visit a page. They are used to store and retrieve information about browsing carried out from that device, making it possible to remember the user's actions or preferences (such as language, browser type, regional settings, etc.) so that they do not have to configure them again when they return.

They are also used to collect statistical information, enable certain technical features and, in some cases, display personalized advertising based on the user's browsing habits.

3. Types of cookies used

By ownership:

  • First-party cookies: managed directly by Quantumsec S.L. from its own domain (quantumsec.es).
  • Third-party cookies: managed by a third party unrelated to Quantumsec S.L., such as YouTube or Google.
  • By duration — Session cookies: deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies: remain stored on the user's device for a set period, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
  • By purpose — Technical cookies: enable browsing and the use of the website's features.
  • Analytics cookies: make it possible to quantify the number of users and statistically analyze use of the website.
  • Advertising cookies: enable the management of advertising space and the display of personalized advertising content based on browsing behavior.

5. International data transfers

The use of Google Analytics, YouTube and Google Calendar cookies involves the possible international transfer of data to servers located outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the USA).

In the case of Google Analytics, Quantumsec S.L. only consults aggregated statistical reports (pages visited, traffic sources, device type or approximate country) that do not allow any individual to be identified. This website does not send Google any data that identifies you, such as your name or email address, nor does it associate analytics with any user identifier.

The information collected by YouTube and Google Calendar cookies is managed exclusively by Google, and Quantumsec S.L. has no access to it, under the terms set out in Google's own privacy policy.

This website does not use social media pixels or cookies for advertising purposes.

6. How can you manage cookies?

When first accessing the website, the user can accept all cookies, reject them all or customize them by purpose from the consent banner. No non-essential cookie is set before that choice is made.

The choice can be changed at any time, as easily as it was made: the "Cookie settings" link, available in the footer of every page and also below, reopens the preferences panel, where consent already given can be withdrawn service by service.

Strictly necessary technical cookies cannot be disabled because the basic operation of the website depends on them; on this website, they are limited to the cookie that stores the cookie preferences themselves.

In addition, users can configure their browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera or Microsoft Edge) to restrict, block or delete cookies by consulting each browser's specific instructions.

7. Updates and changes to the cookie policy

Quantumsec S.L. may modify this Cookie Policy in line with legislative or regulatory requirements, or in order to adapt it to new website features or cookies used. Users are therefore advised to review this policy periodically.
